Knowing how inflammation and pain works is the 1st step to being able to unravel your pain puzzle. The 2nd step is knowing your triggers and how they work in your body.

Biofeedback in Tucson has been shown successful in numerous clinical studies due to its ability to help find each individual's triggers then downregulate them through a treatment series.

Though the magnitude and seriousness of the problem is clear, many people are unfamiliar with the underlying drivers of chronic pain. Research has shown that several biochemical mediators, including prostaglandins, cytokines (TNFα, IL-1ß, IL-6), chemokines (CCL2, CXCL1, CXCL5), growth factors (NGF, BDNF), and neuropeptides (substance P, CGRP) play a key role in the pain pathway and in making chronic pain chronic.1-3

BDNF=brain-derived neurotrophic factor; CCL2=C-C motif chemokine ligand 2; CGRP=calcitonin gene-related peptide; CV=cardiovascular; CXCL=C-X-C motif chemokine ligand; IL=interleukin; TNF=tumor necrosis factor.

We have several Biofeedback and Neurofeedback applications to support your body's innate ability to downregulate pain, replacing it with the ability to heal even old chronic injury or pain pathways. This does not happen overnight, and the number of treatments required and length of time is unique to each person. But it is possible to do and we support people through this process every week.
